Charles Kevin Feil graduated with honors from South Georgia Tech with an Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance in 1992.  During his high school career and throughout his college education, Feil professionally raced jet skis with the Pro Tour.  He then spent four years with the USAF Civil Service, which provided him with valuable experience and preparation for his future career paths.  While in the USAF, Feil attended the MMI Institute and graduated with honors in Marine Mechanics.  In 1997, Feil retired from jet skis and launched his aviation career here at Gardner Aviation as an Avionics Technician/Installer and A&P Mechanic.  After three years at G.A.S, he went on to work with Delta Airlines, while running two successful businesses in the Power Sports Industry.  One of the businesses he owned consisted of building custom show bikes.  With 26 years of experience in Power Sports, he has gained an enormous amount of technical and operational knowledge.  Feil is a certified master mechanic for Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki recreational vehicles. His success in the motorcycle industry was officially showcased when his work was published in three major motorcycle magazines.  His passion for airplanes led him to return to Gardner Aviation, where he now manages the Maintenance department.

Guy Woodroof

Jasper G. Woodroof III, Technician/Pilot

Jasper Woodroof is a retired U.S.A.F. (Master Sergeant) with two Associate of Applied Science degrees in Construction Technology and Professional Piloting. With over 34 years of experience as a commercial, instrument, and multi-engine pilot, he has flown over 90 different types of General Aviation Aircraft. Woodroof has his A&P license and his mechanical experience amounts to over seven years. His fondest aviation memory occurred during the years 2000 to 2006.  During that time he flew his airplane (an AAIA) across the country, reaching 49 states. Jasper Woodroof has first hand experience in all aspects of aviation, making him an irreplaceable asset here at Gardner.

With six years experience and an A&P Mechanic license, Abrahamson has the skills and abilities to achieve great success within his aviation career. Curtis Abrahamson continues to shine at Gardner Aviation as one of our most valued technicians.

Frankie Smith has completed numerous training courses and achieved several types of recognition, including a certificate of appreciation from AOPA. He has 14 years of experience in aviation and currently holds the Repairman Certificate for Avionics Install, Radio, and Instruments. Smith claims his favorite aviation memory is undoubtedly the year he lead the GAS Motorsports team. He represented the company as driver and crew chief of race Kart #25 (aka The GAS Machine).  Frankie Smith's willingness to go above and beyond is reflected through his growing success as an avionics technician.

Ricky Ronig began his education in 1986 at Alabama Aviation and Technical College, where he received his Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Technologies. His training includes numerous courses from FlightSafety: Gulfstream 550, 450, G-IV, G-III, G-II, Gulfstream 450; 550 Honeywell Plane View Avionics Initial Training, and Challenger 601R Maintenance Familiarization. Ronig has received his A&P license as well as his King Aeronautical I/A license. With 28 years of experience, Ricky Ronig possesses an incomparable amount of knowledge and skill.

Frank Fitzgerald, Instrument Technician

Frank Fitzgerald has worked as an instrument repairman for over 42 years. His experience has allowed him to master the craft of instrument repair and renovation.  His work is not only accurate, he completes his projects in record breaking time. With countless certificates and special training, Fitzgerald claims his highest achievement is simply making it to 67 years old.   His favorite quote explains his profession,"My instruments let you know how high and how fast you ARE."  Gardner Aviation is honored to have such a talented technician apart of the GAS team.
